This page explains how BikeSide handles despatch and delivery. We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only and do not ship overseas.
What delivery costs
Standard UK delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend. Whatever delivery choices are available for your address are shown at the checkout before you pay, so nothing is added afterwards.
How long it takes
We aim to hand orders to the carrier within 1-2 working days. Orders placed at a weekend or on a UK public holiday start that clock on the next working day. Carriage then usually takes a further 4-5 working days, so the total delivery time to all UK addresses is 5-7 working days.
Those figures are estimates drawn from past deliveries, not guarantees. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 we will in any event deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the order unless we agree something different with you.
Following your parcel
We email a despatch confirmation when the order leaves us, including tracking where the carrier provides it. It is normal for a tracking page to show nothing for a few hours after that email.
If something goes wrong
If your order has not arrived within the estimated window, email contact@bikeside.co.uk with the order number. We will chase the carrier and keep you posted. If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours and keep the packaging — carriers usually want to see it.
