When you are charged
The full order total, in GBP, is displayed before you authorise payment. Payment is taken when the order is placed. If an order is later cancelled, the payment is reversed or refunded to the method it came from.
How your details are handled
Payment is processed by the provider shown at the checkout, under that provider’s own security and privacy terms. BikeSide does not see or store full payment card numbers. The whole site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
We will never ask for card details by email, over the phone or through a messaging app. If you receive such a request claiming to be from us, it is not from us — please tell us about it.
Prices and charges
Prices are in GBP. The price shown is the price you pay for the product. Standard UK delivery is free on every order; we add no booking fee, card fee or surcharge at the checkout.
If a payment fails
Check the details you entered and any message from the payment provider, which normally names the reason. If a charge on your statement needs explaining, email us with the order number and we will trace it.
